With the Spirit of Darwin

1. The beginning. 200/150/5-year round-the-world journey with the ship HMS Beagle. One of the three greatest discoveries of XIX century appeared- Darwin` s theory of evolution. The scientist made a revolution of science by scientific methods and evidence. Darwin`s book "The origin of species" is an endless source of potential for scientists, and in fact he detached science from religion. Information has been part of people’s consciousness for 150 years: organisms evolve. Few theories can boast of such eternity.

2. Coevolution. In the XX century natural science adopted Einstein`s theory of relativity and now, at the beginning of XXI century - time is the focus of attention.

Maybe the fourth dimension. Emphasis is put on evolution and temporality. Тhe tree of evolution is with new branches and is in full blossom. Coevolutionary complexity! Blooming complexity! We can find the simplicity of this complexity in the proverb: “Have faith in God, but don`t be a fool”. Man isn’t a fool …?

One of the pillars of European policy (a strategy for education) is: “Learn to live together”. Learning is art, culture, science.

3. Еvolutionary leap. Humanity is preparing for a new, higher role. Darwin, establishing the general cause of evolution, emphasizes its progressive nature. He foresaw the field for important scientific research being the development of mental skills and abilities of people, achieved through gradual gradation. He saw light emitted by the evidence of science. Every day we receive proofs that humanity moves towards a new spiritual level, a new civilization.

Darwin discovered that the world was moved by an unknown and invisible force which every day, every hour, is searching through the world for the lightest changes; it is rejecting the bad, it is keeping and collecting the good changes while working quietly, invisibly, where and when opportunity arises. It is working on improving each organic creature in accordance with its life conditions - organic and inorganic.

And he called it "Natural Selection".

And how will we call it ...?
